Shipment Types and Times

All shipment costs are displayed based on purchase price or volume at checkout. Shipments are processed within 2-5 business days, with time varying during high-volume seasons. Most packages transfer from USPS to the local postal company, with tracking available on their websites.

Customs and Duties Charges

We cannot guarantee whether customs fees will be charged upon receiving a package. We are not notified of local customs charges before shipping, and Mary and Shelley cannot assume responsibility for or refund customs/duties fees.

Delayed, Lost, or Stolen Packages

Third-party companies such as national and international package services.

For items marked "undelivered," please directly contact the postal company handling your package, as Mary and Shelley is not responsible for delivery issues caused by the postal service or incorrect addresses.

Return Policies

Returns + Unclaimed Packages

  • Visit our Returns Center for an exchange or refund.
  • Returns are to be initiated within 10 days of package receipt for regular-priced items.
  • Damaged or incorrect item claims must be made within 3 days of delivery.
  • Sale items are Final Sale.
  • Returns must be shipped within 20 days of return request approval.
  • Mary and Shelley does not cover return costs. USA customers will receive a shipping label via email, with the cost deducted from the refund.
  • Items must be unused and in the same condition as received (unwashed, no stains, pet hairs, odors, etc.).
  • Customs fees charged to our account on returned packages will be deducted from refund totals.
  • If your package is marked as unclaimed by the postal office and returned to our headquarters ('Returned to Sender'), the buyer must pay the postage fee of an unclaimed package as well as the cost of having the item re-shipped to them. If you no longer wish to have your package sent to you, a refund of goods will be given minus the postage fees.

Gift Cards

Returns on orders purchased with a Mary and Shelley gift card/exchange store credit will be refunded as store credit to the gift card. Gift cards do not expire, and this credit can be used again towards another purchase.

Returns on orders purchased with both a Mary and Shelley gift card/exchange store credit as well as a direct payment option (e.g., PayPal, credit card, credit-debit, etc.) will be refunded to the Mary and Shelley gift card.

Purchased Mary and Shelley Gift Cards are non-refundable.

Third-party pre-paid gift cards (e.g., Visa and Mastercard gift cards) cannot be refunded. Please read all details of your pre-paid cards before purchasing anything online, as we are not associated with any pre-paid third-party systems.

Pre-Orders

  • Shipping dates may change due to production issues or delays. Updates will be provided via email. We apologize for any inconvenience.
  • Pre-order items are sent when entire pre-order is available and will be shipped separately from any ready-to-ship items.

Incomplete/Denied Payment

Mary and Shelley strives to provide quality garments and customer service to our customers, and we are more than happy to help with order issues. Customers will always receive an email for cancelled orders if the order was flagged as fraudulent, if a payment is incomplete/denied, or if there is another problem with an order.

Sold Out Items

If your item unfortunately becomes sold-out or unavailable, you will receive a refund notice via email. Refunds are processed within 24 hours of notification, if funds were already withdrawn.

Deadstock Disclaimer

Due to the use of repurposed deadstock and scrap materials, no two Mary and Shelley bags are exactly alike. Variations in texture, color, and minor imperfections are inherent characteristics of the materials, making each piece truly beautiful and unique. These one-of-a-kind features are a testament to our commitment to sustainability and individuality. Please embrace these differences as a mark of the care and creativity that goes into every Mary and Shelley creation.
